What makes the Scoliosis Center of Wisconsin different from other clinics?

There are several key differences which we have listed below:

  • We do not rely exclusively on one treatment method or methodology. In many cases, the application of numerous specialties and methods produces the best results
  • Advanced scoliosis training and experience with complex cases
  • Every patient is tested prior to treatment to see 'if' and 'how' they will respond. Although there are numerous treatment modalities applied, patients are first tested prior to care. This information greatly enhances our ability to predict outcomes w/ reasonable certainty. From there, the effort and time frame required is unique to each case and largely hinges on the patient's participation
  • Patients are given the appropriate time they need for optimum results, this includes decision making, rehabilitation, questions, education, etc
  • We love what we do and are genuinely interested in the patient's health. See Testimonials link
  • The Scoliosis Center of Wisconsin was uniquely designed with respect to treatment and delivery of care. This premise stemmed from noticing that individuals with scoliosis were primarily being treated with one system of care.
  • The application of numerous treatment strategies is a fundamental principle followed at the Scoliosis Center of Wisconsin

Dr. Mathew Schwab graduated from Palmer College in 2004. Upon graduating he completed a three-month internship at St. Cloud Chiropractic where he furthered his experience with scoliosis treatment. He opened his own Chiropractic Clinic in Eau Claire, WI that same year, bringing to the area his knowledge and training in chiropractic care and the treatment of scoliosis

Dr. Schwab was the first chiropractor in Wisconsin to achieve Elite Status with the Clear Institute. He is also the first chiropractor and Spine Physician in the state to become certified in the spinecor dynamic brace for scoliosis.

Dr. Schwab actively maintains a diplomat status with the American Academy of Spine Physicians. He has recently written a case study article that has been accepted for publication in a peer-reviewed medical journal.

In 2008, he opened a second clinic, the Scoliosis Center of Wisconsin, which is dedicated to treating people who suffer from this debilitating disease.
